Notice to OVW Tribal Affairs Division Grantees: Per Rebekah Jones, Acting Deputy Director for Tribal Affairs, OVW Tribal Governments Program, Tribal Jurisdictions Program, Tribal Sexual Assault Services Program, Tribal SAUSA Program, and Tribal Coalitions Program grantees are authorized to support travel costs for up to five (5) persons to attend the “21st Annual Government-to-Government VAW Tribal Consultation”, utilizing grant funds, without prior approval from their Program Manager.  Grantees are strongly encouraged to use this option to help cover travel expenses for elected Tribal leaders, finance officers, board members, and others involved with management of their grant projects/programs.

No Grant Award Modification (GAM) submission in JustGrants is required. Grantees should ensure sufficient travel funds remain in their budget to cover the costs of required training and events related to their grant program, and keep a copy of this notice in their grant file for audit purposes.

Hotel Room Rate: $139.00

Hotel room rates are subject to applicable taxes. The taxes and fees are currently 11.4% sales tax and $2.00 per night Tribal tax.

Note: The Consultation will conclude at 2:00pm (PDT) on Friday, September 11. There are a limited amount of rooms available for Friday evening at the group rate. Once the block is filled, Friday night hotel rooms will be at the rate of $289.
