TESTIMONY

The Office on Violence Against Women extends a special thank you to all of the Tribal Leaders who wish to present testimony at the 21st Annual Government-to-Government Violence Against Women Tribal Consultation, which will be held at the Tulalip Resort Casino in Tulalip, Washington between September 9-11, 2026.

Non-elected or non-appointed Tribal Leaders seeking to submit testimony must provide either an authorizing resolution or a letter from their Nation’s Tribal Leader (Chief/President/Chairman) granting permission to testify on behalf of the Tribe. Testifying Tribal Leaders must represent a Federally Recognized Tribe. There will be three opportunities available for Tribal Leaders to offer testimony.

  • Pre-recorded Testimony (with assistance provided by Chickasaw Speaker Management)
  • Oral Testimony (In person)
  • Written Testimony


Testimony submission details are provided to all Tribal Leaders and delegates who select that they would like to provide testimony within the registration process.

Recording Notice: Portions of this consultation will be recorded for the purpose of technical quality assurances.
